A 15-year-old boy was stabbed by a classmate al interior de la Edward R. Murrow High School en Brooklyn.
The events were reported at 9:22 in the morning inside the campus located on Avenue L near Saul Bruckner, in the Midwood area.
It is still unclear how the attack occurred and what triggered it.
The NYPD reported that arriving at the scene observed the minor under 15 years old with a wound in the abdomen.
The victim was taken to Maimonides Hospital where he was declared in stable condition.
The alleged perpetrator fled from the scene after the attack and is wanted by the police.

Courtney Gordon, 38, allegedly stabbed five members of her family. An 11-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl died, as did two unidentified adults, a 30-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman.

The subject would have arrived at his relatives’ house a few days before.

After attacking his relatives, Gordon would have set fire to an armchair in the house. This prevented access to the New York police officers.

Once the fire was controlled, the police allegedly confronted Gordon who allegedly attacked them with a knife in an attempt to flee the scene.

The police officers were injured by the suspect who was shot dead.

Also presented, in a photograph, was the knife used in the attack: a kitchen knife. The motive for the attack is unknown at this time.

The only survivor is a 61-year-old woman, who is in serious condition at Mount Sinai Hospital. As of Monday morning, the identities of the victims and what triggered the deadly attack are unknown.
