The government has announced the progress of handling again Corona virus epidemic (COVID-19) in the country. As of today, as many as 13 regions reported no addition of new cases.
“There are 21 who reported under 10 cases today and there are 13 provinces today that have no new cases even reported more cases of recovery,” said a government spokesman for handling COVID-19, Achmad Yurianto (Yuri), which was broadcast via the BNPB YouTube account, Monday (6/29/2020).
Yuri also explained the area with the highest addition of cases today. East Java is ranked first, followed by Central Java and South Sulawesi in the third rank.
“East Java today reported 297 new cases, but also reported 171 recovered cases. Central Java 198 new cases with 43 recovered, South Sulawesi 188 cases with 52 recovered, DKI Jakarta reported 125 new cases and 253 recovered cases, Central Kalimantan 47 new cases and 49 cases recovered, “he said.
Meanwhile, an additional positive cases today totaled 1,082 to 55,092. There were 54 fatalities to 2,805. While 864 cases recovered to 23,800 cases recovered.
The government is also monitoring 41,605 people in monitoring. As well as overseeing as many as 13,335 patients.
