Throughout Switzerland, around 12,500 recruits and management members will join the summer RS on Monday. As the Swiss army writes in a media release, the service starts with special protective measures.
–
In addition to strict compliance with hygiene and distance regulations, all recruits and management members are tested for the corona virus as part of the mandatory sanitary entry pattern. These tests will be evaluated by a civilian laboratory and the results will be available at the end of the first week of RS at the earliest.
–
Holidays only on the second weekend
In order to reduce the risk of infection or spread of the virus, the recruits and cadres are encouraged to wear protective masks until the test results arrive, the message says.
–
And: The members of the army will only be released on vacation on the second weekend.
–
Two protective masks for the way
All members of the army who entered the RS on Monday had previously been informed of the measures in a circular. They were each given two protective masks for the way to the barracks.
–
The army also ensures that members of the army will have sufficient protective masks available throughout the RS. (bra)
