A known shoplifter (50) was arrested in Breda on Saturday morning. He is suspected of threatening a security guard with a knife when he tried to arrest him.
That happened around 10 a.m. Saturday morning at the Hoge Vugt shopping center. The thief had a restraining order. The security guard took the suspect to his office, but he tried to flee. When the security guard tried to stop him, the man pulled a knife from his pocket and threatened the security guard. The suspect fled on his bicycle and was later arrested.
