The police were alerted on Monday evening by a resident on Bennekelstraat in Eindhoven who saw a suspicious situation in front of his or her house. There were two ‘suspicious men’ in their car for a long time.
The police arrived on the scene and saw from the license plate of the car that one of the men was a firearms hazard. When the two men saw the police, they fled.
An arrest team and police helicopter soon arrived on the scene. The man who is a firearms threat has not been found. The other man was removed from the car at gunpoint and arrested.
