A known shoplifter (50) was arrested in Breda on Saturday morning. He is suspected of having threatened a security guard with a knife when he tried to arrest him.
That happened around 10 a.m. at the Hoge Vught shopping center. The thief had a restraining order. The security guard took the suspect to his office, but he tried to flee. When the security guard wanted to stop him, the man pulled a knife from his pocket and threatened the security guard with it. The suspect then fled on his bicycle. He was later arrested.
