1100 kilos of cocaine intercepted in the port of Rotterdam | Inland

The container came from Ecuador and arrived on Thursday evening with a seagoing vessel via the port of Antwerp. The container was intended for a company in Switzerland.

The drugs have been destroyed and the Hit and Run Cargo team (HARC) is investigating further. This is a partnership of customs, FIOD, Seaport Police and the Public Prosecution Service in Rotterdam.

Earlier this week, a shipment of 440 kilos of cocaine was already intercepted in the port of Rotterdam, with a street value of more than 33 million euros. The drugs were then hidden in refrigerated containers with frozen fish. They also came from Ecuador.
