This month marks five years since Emirates Airlines and flydubai activated their extensive partnership and joined forces to offer unprecedented travel options to customers around the world. The two airlines’ shared route network has expanded significantly, enabling more than 11 million customers to continue seamless travel on more than 250,000 flights since the partnership launched in 2017.
The benefits of the innovative partnership between Emirates and flydubai go beyond the usual codeshare model and now include network integration, improved flight schedules, seamless transfers at Dubai International Airport between Terminals 2 and 3 , baggage transfers for the entire flight route, as well as mutual loyalty benefits under the Sky Emirates Airline program » shared benefits for customers of the two carriers.
Unrivaled travel options
Customers can access 215 destinations in 98 countries via Dubai, with the option to travel on more than 250 codeshare flights. Emirates customers can book their flights to more than 80 exclusive flydubai destinations, while flydubai customers can choose from more than 99 destinations to travel with Emirates Airlines. Among the preferred destinations by customers, both for business and tourism: Kathmandu, Kuwait, Maldives and Zanzibar.

More than 8.5 million members have enjoyed the benefits of Emirates Skywards, the joint frequent flyer program between Emirates Airlines and flydubai, earning 150 billion Skywards Miles over the past five years through the partnership.
Continuous connectivity throughout Dubai
Dubai International Airport customers can enjoy smooth check-in, easy access to the Emirates lounges in Terminal 3 and the flydubai lounge in Terminal 2 and reasonable waiting times as both carriers extend their flight and provide easy connections on flydubai flights to 33 destinations From Emirates Airlines Terminal 3 to Dubai International Airport.
The network continues to grow
More than 270,000 passengers travel each month on Emirates Airlines and flydubai flights, which continue to add more flights to their schedules, giving customers more flexibility to destinations such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Karachi, Maldives and major cities in Saudi Arabia. Both airlines also continue to expand their networks, with Emirates recently resuming flights to Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. Improve the customer experience
Emirates is investing over $2 billion in a comprehensive program to upgrade its 120 aircraft with Premium Economy Class cabins, improved menus and more sustainable options. Flydubai has introduced a new business class seat that offers more comfort to customers on its short- and medium-haul flights. Flydubai has also expanded its fleet to 70 Boeing 737s and will modify some of its operational aircraft, as well as equip its future aircraft with new business class seats.
