105 People in the DPR Building Positive for Covid, 17 Council Members

The Secretary General (Secretary General) of the DPR, Indra Iskandar, stated that as many as 105 people Capitol Building RI is positively infected Covid-19. According to him, 17 of the 105 people are members DPR RI.

Regarding the activities of the meeting that took place at the DPR’s Auxiliary Equipment (AKD), Indra stated, only Commission VII and Commission VIII stopped the activity alias carried out lockdown now.

According to him, Commission I has held another meeting after closing last week.

“Meanwhile, Commission I has started meeting again because there are several agendas because in accordance with the budget cycle during this session, the commissions must complete the task of discussing the budget with partners,” said Indra.

However, he emphasized that the meeting that was taking place at the DPR Building was currently running with strict health protocols. According to him, meetings can only be attended by a maximum of 20 percent of the current meeting room capacity.

To note, a spike in cases of Covid-19 transmission occurred at the DPR Building in the past week. A total of three commissions, namely Commission I, Commission VII, and Commission VIII of the DPR had decided to carry out lockdown alias stops all activities for a while.

Several commissions are also known to have canceled the agenda of meetings with partners for the next few weeks, such as Commission V and Commission III.
