The Japan Meteorological Agency announced the end of the rainy season in southern Kyushu on the morning of the 23rd.

Southern Kyushu is expected to be mostly sunny for the next week, and the Japan Meteorological Observatory announced that “the rainy season seems to have ended in southern Kyushu.” The end of the rainy season is 8 days later than the average year and 1 day later than last year.

On the fallow land in Hirae, Ichikikushikino City, Kagoshima Prefecture, 10,000 sunflowers planted by the local community council were in full summer view.

On the 23rd, it was a hot summer day with 35.2 degrees in Isa City, 34.8 degrees in Satsumasendai City, 34.2 degrees in Ibusuki City, and 33.6 degrees in Kagoshima City.
