Sanctions were imposed at the last meeting of the NSDC

The restrictive measures of the US Treasury were imposed on 130 Ukrainian citizens, three of whom have already died.

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has included 100 Ukrainian citizens on the sanctions list, against whom restrictive measures have been introduced by the US Treasury Department. This was announced by the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov on the air of the TV channel Ukraine 24 on Tuesday, 6 July.

According to Danilov’s data, 134 Ukrainian citizens fell under the American sanctions, 130 of them were included in the “black” list of the Ministry of Finance.

“As of today, it has been established that out of 130 people who are under the sanctions of the Ministry of Finance, 127 are alive and well, and three have died. The NSDC has imposed sanctions on 100 of these people, they have already been imposed,” he said.

As for the remaining 27 Ukrainians, a decision on them has not yet been made, since Kiev is processing additional information about them from partners, Danilov added.

The secretary clarified that the sanctions were imposed at the last meeting Council.

We will remind, in January of this year, the US Treasury announced the imposition of sanctions against seven citizens and four organizations of Ukraine because of “interference in the elections.”

And in March, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that under the restrictive measures of the United States fell also oligarch and former Ukrainian state official Igor Kolomoisky “for his involvement in significant corruption.”
