The son of a Tegal DPRD member was killed in a state of blood found in the street. AFA (15) is suspected of being the victim of a brawl by junior high school students. The police have now arrested a number of students who were involved, including the main perpetrator who was suspected of assaulting the victim.

1. At first the victim was found dead covered in blood
The son of a member of the DPRD Tegal Regency, Central Java, from the PKB faction, was killed by a sharp weapon. A student at a junior high school in Tegal Regency with the initials AFA (15) is suspected of having died as a victim of student brawls.
Head of Public Relations of the Tegal Police, Ipda Untung Heru Santoso, said that the discovery of the victim began with a report by residents to the Pangkah Police Headquarters about a student brawl on the Curug Village Ring Road, Pangkah District, Tegal, on Thursday (9/3) at 15.30 WIB.
“Initially from residents’ reports that there was a brawl. Officers (Polsek Pangkah) then went to the TKP and found a group of students in school uniforms (SMP) disbanding,” said Untung in a written statement, reported by detikJateng, Friday (10/3).
The police then checked around the location and found a child in a junior high school uniform lying in a pool of blood. The boy was taken to Dr. Soeselo Hospital to get help, but his life was not saved.
The AFA victim was allegedly the victim of the student brawl. “That’s right (the victim of the brawl),” said the Head of Public Relations of the Tegal Police, Ipda Untung Heru Santoso.
3. 31 students who were involved in the death of the victim were taken into custody
The police have arrested 31 students. These students were allegedly involved in the death of a member of the Tegal DPRD who was allegedly the victim of a brawl.
“All those involved and arrested are 31 people,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tegal Police AKP Vonny Farizky during a press conference, as reported by detikJateng, Monday (13/3).
4. 6 Main Actors Arrested in Victim Abuse Cases
AKP Vonny Farizky stated that 6 of them were determined to be the main actors in the case of child abuse by members of the Tegal DPRD. It said the majority of those arrested were minors.
“The perpetrators are generally minors, then they are subject to the Child Protection Act which results in death. We are juncto Article 170 paragraph 2, paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code. There are also children who carry sharp weapons, we apply the Emergency Law 11 of 2012,” explained Vonny.
