So when we hear some of them officially announce that they are taking a break to take care of their children, we are always a little surprised. The news is even more mind-boggling when it comes from a male celebrity. Still very few dads decide to take the parental leave full time these days.

The team of Nice looked into the question and we have drawn up for you a small non-exhaustive list of famous international and French personalities who have already put their careers on hold in order to be closer to their families, and in particular, their children.

1. Jennifer
In 2015, the French singer Jenifer Bartoli officially announces that he is putting his career on hold in order to devote himself fully to his children. She has always said in her interviews to be a mother wolf. She wanted to be a full-fledged mother and have time for herself – which her singing career did not allow her. She wanted to focus on the education of her adopted son Louis, and fully play her role as a mother. She has also adopted another baby named Laila in 2015.
