Mrs. Sahadew was found by Vismale under inhumane conditions in a house in the Saramacca district. She was so neglected that she was unable to walk, but crawled. Without utilities she lived with bats. Vismale did not hesitate and immediately sought help from the government. Due to the long procedure, he went to visit himself and took place for Sahadew in retirement home Rust en Werk in Nickerie.
Vismale immediately transported the elderly lady to Nickerie. She had probably not eaten or bathed for days and was taken to the MMC for a medical check-up, where she was immediately admitted.
