Dorda shocked the FCM
With little summer temperatures and sometimes heavy rain, both teams, who started with twelve starting eleven changes, had a hard time finding their way into the game. Magdeburg’s Tobias Müller then gave the guests jump-start and almost caused the early gap with a catastrophic miss in front of the FCM goal on Tom Boere (6th). The Wollitz-Elf quickly digested the fright and subsequently developed more game shares. The only drawback: chances did not pop out. The opponent also rarely came in front of the goal, but ultimately took the lead after a nice combination via Boere, Franck Evina and Christian Dorda (39.). Wollitz took note of that, but his team was unable to bring the coach’s fire onto the pitch until the break.

Beck takes a penalty
After the break, the guests in particular showed a significantly better performance and had more of the game. A whistle from referee Riem Hussein then changed everything. Assani Lukimya fouled Magdeburg’s Christien Beck in the penalty area. Jürgen Gjasula converted the following penalty, albeit with a bit of a jerk (55.). Charles Elie Laprevotte almost gave the lead, but Krefeld also awarded two more top-class players at half-time. The Wollitz Elf were really lucky shortly before the end when Dominic Maroh headed the ball just very thinly past the left post (89.). Then it was over. Magdeburg and Krefeld share the points. Magdeburg initially improved to 14th place with 37 points, but only four points separate the FCM from relegation places. Krefeld is ninth with 44 points.

Stefan Krämer (Krefeld): “We were too passive and stood too low. In the second half, we were already the better team in terms of football. I don’t think it was a penalty either. But that can’t be changed. We have in made a decent game in the second half. Overall, I’m satisfied with the appearance. ”
