1. FC Köln: This is how the FC professionals spend the Christmas days

1. FC Köln celebrated a successful end of the year in the DFB Cup against VfL Osnabrück (1-0). The winter break is short, but the FC professionals got all off over the Christmas period.

Everyone spends this time very differently. FC newcomer Ondrej Duda (26) flew to his Slovak homeland Velka Lomnica. In his Instagram story, he posted pictures of a dog in front of the fireplace and snow-capped mountains.

Right-back Kingsley Ehizibue (25), on the other hand, is busy. The Dutchman does a few laps on an artificial turf pitch with his friend Jayden Oosterwolde (19), who has been a professional at Twente Enschede since this season.

The Spaniard Jorge Meré (23) wished his followers a Merry Christmas on Instagram. Once in German, in Spanish (Feliz Navidad) and in English (Merry Christmas).

Sebastiaan Bornauw (21) is probably the most comfortable. The young Belgian posted a photo of himself, his girlfriend Ines and dog James in front of the fireplace and wished everyone a peaceful party.

Like Ehizibue, BVB loaner Marius Wolf (25) is also busy, in his own weight room at home, the right winger wants to stay in shape, as he shows in his Insta story. After that, he still needs to relax. Games are played on the console and NBA is watched on the tablet.

Loan striker Tolu Arokodare (20) uses the free time to get to know Cologne a little better. The Nigerian strolled through the city with a friend and posted photos of the Rhine and Cologne Cathedral.

The FC stars use the time to recharge the batteries in the short time. Because on Tuesday, coach Markus Gisdol (51) asks his players to train again, on January 2 the Bundesliga will continue, then FC will face FC Augsburg.
