(CercleFinance.com) – After rising 0.6% in March (revised increase from an initial estimate of 0.8%), durable goods orders rose 0.4% in the United States on last month, according to the Commerce Department, an increase below consensus.
Excluding the transport sector, whose variations are considered to be particularly erratic, orders for American durable goods increased by 0.3% in April, an increase there too less strong than that hoped for by economists.
