There was no winner in the Premier League derby between England’s record champions Manchester United and local rivals Manchester City. The two teams, who have fallen short of expectations so far this season, drew a goalless and largely uneventful tie in front of empty stands at Old Trafford Stadium on Saturday. Chelsea also disappointed in the 0-1 away win against Everton.

Gylfi Sigurdsson’s penalty goal in the 22nd minute sealed the first Premier League defeat of the “Blues” after nine rounds. In the table, Chelsea are still third, two points behind the top duo Tottenham and Liverpool, who are in action on Sunday.
