LeBron James has surpassed legend Abdul-Jabbar to become the new NBA all-time leading scorer.
Los Angeles Lakers’ James scored his 36th point in a home game against Oklahoma City with 10.9 seconds left in the third quarter to break a career high of 38,388 points, a record that had not been broken for 34 years.
With 38 points in this game, he has a career high of 38,390 and the Lakers are down 130-133.
James, who made his debut in Cleveland in the 2003-2004 season, set another milestone after winning four championship and regular league MVP awards each.
