Quoting an unnamed official, the Korean Football Federation pointed out that this is a situation where even somewhat absurd conditions such as ‘Korean leader appointed’, ‘an annual salary of less than 1 billion won’, and even somewhat absurd conditions such as “a patriotic leader” have been reported and, in conclusion, they are not at all true.
At the same time, he explained that a specific person’s name was even mentioned as a potential candidate, and even if a Korean Football Federation official made such a statement, it was only his personal opinion and not the official position of the Korean Football Federation.
