When a firefighter in her twenties caught a fire in the hallway of her apartment, she calmly extinguished the fire with a fire hydrant to prevent human damage.

When a fire broke out in the corridor on the 14th floor of an apartment on the 20th floor of Haengsin-dong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, at around 5pm yesterday, a 21-year-old man, Kwon Yoo-ho, covered his nose with a wet towel and calmly turned off the fire in 10 minutes.

The burnt apartment is a large-scale apartment with a scale of 1,000 households, each with 100 households in each building.

Kwon, who turned off the fire alone, told YTN that he was studying to become a firefighter, so he was well aware of the importance of early firefighting, so he came out with a gourd to keep the lives of residents safe and put out the fire by receiving water from a fire hydrant.
