Bishops of Central America ask for respect for the rights of migrants in caravan

In the statement signed by the president of the Sedac and archbishop of San Salvador, José Luis Escobar, and the Salvadoran Cardinal Gregorio Rosa Chávez, they made an “urgent call” to the entities that guarantee respect for human rights to remain on “total alert” to “defend” migrants, especially women and children.
