In Japan, cases of mutant virus infection from the UK are confirmed every day.

With the possibility that the mutant virus has already spread to the market, an emergency has taken place in securing beds ahead of the holiday season.

Additional confirmed mutant virus infections in Japan are a man in his 30s who is an aircraft pilot and a woman in his 20s who lives with him.

The pilot was exempt from quarantine, so when he returned from England on the 16th, he entered the city without undergoing corona testing at the airport.

The infection was confirmed a week later.

This shows the possibility that a highly contagious mutant virus has already spread on the market.

The National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Japan called for thorough quarantine, saying that infections by mutant viruses could increase in the future.

The number of new confirmed cases in Japan recorded the highest for four consecutive days, increasing to nearly 4,000 people a day.

Amid the rapid increase in the number of infected people, an emergency took place in securing beds ahead of the holiday season.

15 local governments, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, have announced that they will provide special subsidies to places where medical treatment is continued during the year-end and New Year holidays.

The Japanese government is also planning to urgently support medical institutions receiving corona patients with an additional budget of about 3 trillion won.

However, after the coronavirus outbreak, people are leaving the medical field.

The Japan Nursing Association complained of a sense of crisis in the field, saying that working with only personal sense of mission is now limited as the fatigue of medical staff has reached the highest level.
