China’s economy, the world’s number one, likely to overtake the US

China recorded 2.3% growth amid the shock of Corona 19 last year.
It is expected to be the only positive growth among major countries, and it is evaluated that the recovery of production through high-intensity controlled quarantine was effective.

Last year, when Corona 19 swept the world, more than 242 billion masks were exported by China.
It’s like using Chinese masks at almost 35 per person in the world excluding China.

Last year, China’s money earned only from mask exports was 57 trillion won.
When other quarantine supplies such as protective clothing and goggles are combined, it amounts to a whopping 74 trillion won.
With the recovery of the manufacturing industry, China’s growth rate from -6.8 in the first quarter of last year returned to +6.5% in the fourth quarter.
In the aftermath of the Corona 19 shock in the first half of last year, the overall growth of 2020 was only 2.3%.
However, as most major countries are expected to grow negatively, China is expected to become the only positive growth country.
Above all, it was driven by high-intensity controlled quarantine and quickly escaped from the impact of Corona 19.

There are also observations that as the Chinese economy is growing rapidly, the time to overtake the United States will be accelerated.
President Xi Jinping expressed confidence that the world is undergoing major changes in recent years, but the time and situation are on the side of China.
China is expected to sustain a high growth rate of 7-8% this year.
However, since the beginning of the year, Corona 19 has been re-proliferating and the US checks are expected to become stronger.
