The Saudi Ministry of Health revealed the approval of new vaccines in addition to the “Pfizer-Biontech” vaccine, which has been vaccinated since the start of the vaccination campaign in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As the Director of Health in the Eastern Region, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Arifi, stated that the “AstraZeneca” and “Moderna” vaccines developed to prevent the emerging corona virus have been approved, according to Al-Arabiya.
Al-Arifi said that there is global competition for vaccines, and there is a great demand for the Pfizer – Biontech vaccine, indicating that good quantities of the Pfizer vaccine will arrive in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia soon.
He pointed out that there are many workers in vaccine distribution centers in the Kingdom, and all of them have good experience in vaccination, adding that the work cycle in those centers has become faster and larger, as well as that the reception halls for those wishing to receive the vaccine are expanding.
