The 17-year-old woman, who was found seriously injured on the banks of the Willersinnweiher on the evening of March 12, 2020, shortly after 6 p.m., died yesterday afternoon (March 13, 2020). In the course of the murder commission’s extensive criminal police measures, a 17-year-old suspect was found. The suspect was arrested yesterday evening by forces from the Rhineland-Palatinate Special Operations Command. At the request of the Frankenthal public prosecutor, the investigating judge at Frankenthal District Court ordered the suspect in custody to be remanded this morning. The 17-year-old German was taken to a juvenile detention center. The investigation is ongoing.
