On the evening of Thursday, December 23rd, 2021, 9:30 p.m., a traffic accident occurred in Freiburg – Haid near the terminus Munzinger Straße.
A hitherto unknown driver steered his delivery van from the exit of the commuter parking lot / the bus stops over the cycle path in the direction of Besanconallee in order to turn south on it (St. Georgen). Here he touches the traffic light mast on which the pedestrian traffic light is attached. It causes property damage of around 1,000 euros.
The whistleblower observed the accident, but was unable to write down the license plate from a distance in the dark. However, he pointed out that at that moment there was a group of young people nearby who could possibly provide more detailed information.
The investigation was carried out by the Freiburg traffic police (0761 882-3100) and asks witnesses who can provide relevant information to report.
