Saterland – drunk driving
A 56-year-old Saterlander is suspected of having driven his car in the public traffic area on Friday evening, around 11 p.m., although he was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. An Alcotest showed an AAK of 1.16 per mille. Blood was drawn in the hospital and the driver’s license confiscated.
Friesoythe – traffic accident
On Friday evening, around 7 p.m., there was a traffic accident in the area of the Grüner Hof roundabout between a 32-year-old driver from Saterland and a 29-year-old cyclist from Friesoythe. The accident happened during a turning maneuver. The cyclist was slightly injured, and there was also property damage of around 2000 euros.
Sedelsberg – Property damage to three cars / call for witnesses
In the time between Friday, 11.09 p.m. and Saturday, 1.30 a.m., three cars parked on the side of the road in Hüllener Strasse were scratched with a sharp object by UT. There was property damage in the amount of approx. 3000 euros. Witnesses are asked to report to the Friesoythe police (Tel .: 04491-93160).
Friesoythe – Driving without a license
On Saturday, around 1:50 p.m., a scooter was checked on Sedelsberger Strasse, which was being driven at around 45 km / h in the public traffic area. However, the 40-year-old scooter driver from Friesoythe could not present a driver’s license, so that further travel was prohibited. In addition, criminal proceedings were initiated.
