Statements after the Sporting-Eurofarm Pelister game (27-27), in the fifth round of Group D of the European Handball League, held today at the João Rocha Pavilion, in Lisbon:
Ricardo Costa (Sporting coach): “It was a difficult game for us. Eurofarm Pelister gave us a lot of problems. Francisco Tavares (Sporting player): “We had the feeling that we could have started the game better. We weren’t as effective in the first half, we went after the result and got the draw, which was important. It doesn’t always go as we want and our thoughts are already on the next game. having to run a lot in Northern Macedonia to get a good result.”
Zeljko Babic (coach of Eurofarm Pelister): “I’m very satisfied, it was very important not to lose the game. I thank my players, they were very good, they fought for each ball and for each position. It was a very difficult game for both teams and very interesting too.
