BFC Dynamo suffers late defeat to Hansa Rostock in North East Regional Football League matchup

At the start of the 31st matchday in the North East Regional Football League, BFC Dynamo again lost valuable points in the fight for the championship. The Berliners lost 2:3 (1:1) to the second team from Hansa Rostock, which is only in 17th place on the table.

And that despite the fact that Chris Reher (23rd minute) and Louis Malina (83rd) led 1-0 and 2-1 respectively. But as in the previous week Home game against Rot-Weiß Erfurt Coach Dirk Kunert’s team conceded late goals. Patrick Nkoa equalized in the 89th minute. Tim Krohn’s winning goal only came in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

With 57 points, the BFC is four points behind leaders Cottbus and two points behind Greifswald in second place. Both still have one more game to play.

VSG Altglienicke also lost 2:3 (1:1) in the home game against Eilenburg. The goals for the Berliners were scored by Justin Bulang (25th) and Tolcay Cigerci (88th, penalty). This means that the Eilenburgers will remain the bogeyman for all clubs in Berlin in 2024. The relegation-threatened Saxons remained unbeaten in all four regional league duels against teams from capital city.

Babelsberg 03 also remained unbeaten and without a goal in their away game in Leipzig. The team in fifth place in the table did not recover from a 0-0 draw at Chemie Leipzig. In the game with few chances, only hitting the crossbar by Paul Wegener from Potsdam caused some excitement (8th).
