With the “Zurich Plus” series of events, Zurich Tourism aims to bring the organizers to the periphery in late summer and autumn.
Zurich Tourism invites professional organizers to take part in special journeys of discovery to Winterthur, Baden, Rapperswil and Zug in the late summer and autumn of this year. The participants should be able to get inspiration there and get back to talking to each other after the pandemic-related break, as Zurich Tourism announced on Wednesday.
“The aim of this series of events is to put the diversity of our surroundings in the spotlight,” explains Vanessa Reis, team leader of the Zurich Tourism congress office. “Our partners from the regions have developed very multifaceted programs for this.”
Four places on the ramp
The cultural city of Winterthur will kick off on August 24, 2021. All participants could, among other things, take a tour of the Sulzer site, play a round of urban golf or enjoy a “full load of comedy”, as the message goes on to say.
On September 3, 2021 in Baden, guests can embark on a specially developed MICE trail. You can end the day with a dinner with musical accompaniment by one of the city’s famous sons. [RELATED]
The event on September 27, 2021 in Rapperswil is aimed at those “who feel in their element on the water”. But art enthusiasts should also get their money’s worth, thanks to a tour of the sculpture exhibition “Art Ufnau” on the island of Ufnau.
Another get-together is to take place in Zug in late autumn; the details are still to be defined, according to Zurich Tourism. (htr / pt)
