In parallel with these recommendations, the carsharing It has increased the cleaning and sanitizing frequencies of its fleet, and has established a disinfection protocol. Vehicles will be disinfected 100% of the times they pass through the charging stations, which will occur at most every 48 hours.

To increase the frequency of disinfection, the company is deploying itinerant cleaning and disinfection patrols in all areas of the Community of Madrid where the service is available with the aim of achieving daily cleaning of the fleet.

New rates and more options

The company will take advantage of this relaunch to adjust its rates and extend the scope of its service in Madrid. Dynamic rates will continue to adjust the price per minute to existing demand. Starting next May 20, and temporarily, the minimum price per minute goes from 0.21 euros, to the new minimum rate of 0.17 euros per minute.

Similarly, Zity is launching new flat rates for rentals of up to three days. In this way, users will be able to use the vehicles for one day for 30 euros, two days for 50 euros and three days for 60 euros.

Gold Pin

Added to these rates is a new functionality called Gold Pin. From May 20, the Zity application will show with a yellow icon those cars that will be promptly promoted with the minimum available price.

This functionality will allow users to reserve these vehicles under the same conditions as the rest of the fleet, but benefiting from a rate of up to 0.17 euros per minute.
