Zero Growth in Italy’s GDP for Q3 2023: Istat Report

Zero growth for Italy in the third quarter of 2023. The third quarter of 2023 – explains Istat – had three working days more than the previous quarter and one working day less than the third quarter of 2022. The economic change is the synthesis of a decrease in added value in the manufacturing sector. agriculture, forestry and fishing, an increase in industry and a stagnation in services.

On the demand side, there is a negative contribution from the national component (gross of inventories) and a positive contribution from the net foreign component. The acquired change in gross domestic product for 2023 is equal to +0.7%. This is the same level as the previous quarter.
