Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky assured in a video address that in every city Russian forces are receiving strong resistance, Ukrinform news agency reported, quoted by BTA.
“In each of our cities, the occupiers are receiving strong resistance. Uman, Odessa, Kherson, Nikolaev, Donbass, Kharkov, Sumy, Chernigov, Kiev – wherever the enemy kills our citizens. “The armed forces are doing everything in their power to stop and destroy the occupiers,” he said.

He also noted that Lviv and other cities in western Ukraine are under attack from the air, but are firmly resisting.
“Kiev and the key cities around the capital are controlled by our army. The occupiers wanted to block the center of our country, to install their puppets here, as in Donbass. We thwarted their plan, they did not get any advantage over us, “said Zelenski.

He said that in the streets, in the sky over Kiev, Vasilkov, Vyshgorod, even in the surrounding fields, a real battle took place for the capital. According to him, the enemy used everything against the Ukrainians – missiles, fighters, drones, artillery, armored vehicles, saboteurs and paratroopers.
“The occupiers are firing on residential neighborhoods, including with jet artillery, trying to destroy energy facilities. They have very vile tactics, “Zelenski added.
