Zelensky signed a bill on the transfer of terrorist defense to the combat zone – Politics – tsn.ua

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a bill allowing the territorial defense units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to be sent to the front and perform combat missions there.

According to the website Verkhovna Radathe President signed the document on June 10.

This is evidenced data from the bill card No. 6521.

Note that usually territorial defense fighters perform tasks within the territory of the corresponding community.

However, after the entry into force of the new law, Terroborona will be able to perform tasks throughout Ukraineincluding in areas of warfare and in the occupied territories.

The decision on the implementation of such tasks will be made by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Recall On May 3, the Verkhovna Rada adopted bill No. 6521expanding the powers of territorial defense.

Even earlier, in April, terrorist defense fighters were equated by law with the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
