President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy answered a journalist’s question Focus about whether there will be documents on the NSDC sanctions against politicians.

To a journalist’s question Focus, the President first responded with a question: “Do you consider them people?”

“There are representatives of people, not all representatives of people are people. There are individuals. I think so. I’m not talking about everyone. Yes, this is my personal opinion. Because if I’m wrong, then there would be no law enforcement agencies, but all people would live in peace, “the president said.

According to Zelensky, the court’s decision is an issue that does not concern him. This is a separate branch of power. And other documents, which are adopted by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, will not be shown to the public. This is the legislation in Ukraine.

The head of state also added that before the NSDC was the body of “downed pilots”, but today it has become an effective tool.

“The NSDC is no longer” downed pilots “as before, but responsible people who are in power,” Zelensky said.

The President also does not rule out that there may be decisions in the EU that will say that the actions of the NSDC are illegal. As an example, he named the lifting of sanctions on Alexander Klimenko (Minister of Finance of the Yanukovych era, – Focus).

The President called the actions of the NSDC correct, the decisions protect Ukraine. And sanctions were introduced against smugglers, Medvedchuk and a number of other people who violated the laws.

Recall that the NSDC was going to emergency meeting due to migrants from Belarus… Also Security Council imposed sanctions against persons who opened the Consulate of Nicaragua in Crimea.

Previously, the NSDC introduced sanctions against the people’s deputy of the HLP Viktor Medvedchukas well as the companies for which the politician’s planes are registered.
