According to him, there are from 30,000 to 35,000 Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories in Crimea and Donbas.
“So provocations are really very dangerous if there are so many troops. One shelling, one artillery shot can lead to war,” Zelensky said.
He also stressed that the concerns are shared by countries neighboring Ukraine.
“We know the history of the Soviet Union, and they understand the risks we face. Poland, the Baltic States, Lithuania. and Estonia, Latvia, Moldova – they know what this can lead to. So we need to be very careful,” – the president added.
