Zamalek tied 0-0 with Sagrada in the match that brought them together this evening, Saturday, at the November 11 Stadium in the Angolan capital, Luanda, as part of the matches of the fourth round of the group stage of the African Confederation Cup, to officially qualify for the quarter-finals.

The Zamalek team continued to lead its group in the Confederation with 10 points, collected from victory over the champions of Libya, Guinea and Angola and a draw with Sagrada, while the Libyan team Abu Salim occupies second place with 6 points, followed by Angola’s Sagrada with 4 points, then the Guinean team Sawar is at the bottom of the group without points.

Zamalek continued its intense pressure on Sagrada’s goal in an attempt to impose control and seize the offensive initiative, taking advantage of the starts of the trio, Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”, Saif Al-Jaziri, and Nasser Mansi, while the Angola champion contented himself with intervening to spoil the White Castle’s attacks.

Zamalek player Mohamed Ashraf “Rouqa” threatened the Angola champion’s goal with a strong shot in the 18th minute from the edge of the penalty area, but goalkeeper Nathan Mabrouki blocked it, sending the ball over the crossbar and out of the field, saving his goal.

The 20th minute witnessed a great sacrifice by Nabil Emad, the Zamalek player, after Moises Calpe, the Sagrada player, received the ball inside the penalty area behind the defenders, but “Dunga” succeeded in clearing the ball in front of him wonderfully.

Zamalek striker Nasser Mansi missed a dangerous opportunity for the white team against Sagrada in the 50th minute against Zizou, after Ahmed Sayed “Zizou” sent the ball into the penalty area and it reached Mansi in front of the goal, who shot the ball into the body of the goalkeeper.

Motamed Gamal, the technical director of Zamalek, brought on Shikabala in the 66th minute instead of Saif Al-Jaziri, to activate the front line, and Abdullah Gomaa replaced Nasser Mansi in the 75th minute.

Zamalek started the match with a formation: Goalkeeper: Mohamed Awad, Defense line: Omar Jaber – Mohamed Abdel Ghani – Hamza Al Mathlouthi – Mohamed Abdel Shafi, Midfield: Nabil Imad Dunga – Mohamed Ashraf “Rouqa” – Amr El Sisi, Offensive line: Ahmed Mostafa. “Zizou” – Saif Al-Jaziri – Nasser Mansi.

On the bench are Abdel Rahman Nafad, Mohamed Tariq, Hossam Abdel Majeed, Ahmed Zaki, Abdullah Gomaa, Sayed Abdullah “Neymar”, Youssef Obama, Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala”, and Samson Akinola.
