Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. One of the topics of discussion was the situation at the front.
According to the commander-in-chief, in the course of negotiations with Milli, he dwelled in detail on the issue of Ukraine’s defense needs. The parties discussed the supply of ammunition and equipment.
“I pointed out the need to strengthen the capabilities of the air defense system. I told General Milli about the situation on the battlefield. We agreed to continue dialogue and work together,” Zaluzny added.
He also noted that he is grateful to US President Joe Biden, the general and the entire American people for supporting Ukraine.
