The images of the weekend clashes on the beaches of Blankenberge brought to light another observation: the wearing of a mask was very little respected. “We realize that there is a lack of communication among young people, the mask is indeed not an acquired measure”, points out the epidemiologist Yves Coppieters (ULB).
