YouTube introduces payment option for on-demand videos.

YouTube enables users to pay creative people for on-demand videos. With “Super Thanks” viewers can donate an amount between 2 and 50 dollars, which is also immortalized in a highlighted comment. Until now, such direct cash payments were only possible for live streams or video premieres. The offer starts on Tuesday in 68 countries and should reach all creative people who take part in YouTube’s partner program by the end of the year.
