In spring, the government of Law and Justice presented the “New Deal” program. One of the pillars are tax solutions that will leave more money in the wallets of some Poles. Unfortunately, there will also be a group of people whose net salary will decrease. The proposed tax changes were one of the reasons for the break-up of the coalition and led to the departure of Jarosław Gowin and some MPs.
“New Deal” – Poles’ salaries will change
What, among other things, is proposed by Law and Justice:
- increasing the tax-free amount to PLN 30,000
- up to 120 thousand PLN will increase the threshold, beyond which you will have to pay 32%. tax (currently 32% of the tax is paid after exceeding the income in the amount of PLN 85,528)
- eliminating the possibility of deducting health insurance contributions from tax
- introduction of the so-called allowances for the middle class (people whose gross annual salary ranges from PLN 68.6 thousand to PLN 133.6 thousand)
