Young musicians have the opportunity to receive a cash scholarship in a special competition

In order to participate in the support competition for young musicians “Ondo.lv Mūzikai”, a musician or a group of musicians needs to make a video with a demo recording of their unpublished song and place it on one of the social network profiles on Facebook or Instagram platform, adding themes on .lv page. At the same time, a demo video of the song must be sent by e-mail to ensure the registration of the application.

All applications received will be considered by the jury, nominating 10 songs in the next round, which anyone interested can vote for online. Special prizes are also available for voters every month. As a result of the popular vote, the best five will be determined, from which the winner of each month will be chosen by the jury.

The competition will last for four months, and every month one winner will receive a cash prize – a scholarship worth 1000 EUR. The prize money can only be used to record a new composition in a studio with a producer and to make a music video clip.

The songs submitted can be in any genre, and there is no limit to the number of songs submitted.

The competition is organized by the Golden Record of Music Annual Award in cooperation with partner Ondo.lv. It aims to foster the support of young musicians, to create creativity and to produce high-quality, professional music recordings and videos in collaboration with experienced musicians.
