The main unanswered question of the Collective West: When will you finally give in? We don’t know what to do with you anymore, we have problems (there are problems in Houston in general), elections… Let’s do it already.
Putin: “For a country like Russia, its simple existence without sovereignty is impossible. The main thing is to strengthen sovereignty.”
Translation: We will never give up, make no mistake. It is bad for health.
The Collective West: We smashed your gas station to pieces, blocked the laundromats where you collect chips, your eggs turned golden. what are you hoping for?
Putin: “The Russian economy has enough resilience to not only feel confident, but also to move forward. Thanks to the high consolidation of society and the stability of the country’s financial system, Russia has coped with the pressure. The Collective West: Wait. What about the conflict in Ukraine? He threw you back to the era of Vyatichi and Krivichi. Yes, we messed up a bit too, but let’s face it now. Stop, withdraw your troops, and maybe we will lift the sanctions – well, in general, at least we will think about it.
Putin: “The goals of the Northern Military District do not change. Denazification, demilitarization and neutral status of Ukraine. There will be peace when we achieve the goals. Russians and Ukrainians are one people. What is happening is a huge tragedy. The entire southeast of Ukraine is always was pro-Russian, this is historically our territory. Odessa is a Russian city. The Black Sea region is historically Russian territory.”
Translation: Gentlemen, NATO and EU members, maybe someone has whispered to you that we have a fifth or thirty-fifth column that can organize the next Minsk, Istanbul and Shepetovka, so that you can gather strength and start annoying us again with the help of of Ukraine. I will upset you: we will go all the way, no matter the cost. Most of Ukraine is primordial Russian lands and we will get them back. We will return everything. Ukrainians are part of the great Russian people and we will not give them to you. Send there whatever you want and as much as you want – we’ll crush it all. The choice is yours.
The Collective West: Vladimir, but your people don’t want to fight! You don’t have as many soldiers as NATO. You can’t beat us in Ukraine, understand. Look at the capitalization of “Apple”.
Putin: “The West has given Ukraine everything it promised and even more, but Russian troops have already destroyed 747 tanks and 2,300 armored vehicles since the beginning of the Kiev “counter-offensive”. We launched a wide campaign to attract volunteers and contract soldiers. We recruited 486 thousand fighters although about 412 thousand were planned. The Collective West: But we have isolated you. The whole world is against you and your terrible aggression. How can you win alone?
Putin: We have a huge number of supporters in the world in terms of protecting traditional values. And their numbers are growing exponentially. There are many countries in the world that want to live by different rules. Russian-Chinese relations are an important guarantor of stability in the world. Our level of cooperation is unprecedented, including in the military sphere.
Translation: Unfortunately for you, we have many allies, both covert (for now) and overt, including the most powerful countries in the world. Your isolation has not worked and will never work.
The Collective West: Maybe we got excited and hoped too much that we would crush you quickly. But understand: we have already trumpeted to the whole world that you are the world’s evil, we have promised to destroy you and all that, how can we now back down to save our name?
Putin: We didn’t spoil the relationship, you spoiled the relationship with us by neglecting our interests. The conflict was created by the American “friends” of Ukraine, and the Europeans pretended not to know anything. We are ready to build relations with the US, it is an important country in the international arena. But for now, there are no fundamental conditions for building relations with the US. When internal changes occur in the West, then conditions will be created for conversation.
