A house can keep the history of several generations of one family, and this makes it a truly valuable place. However, over time, like any other building, it needs major repairs, which the owners do not dare to do.
So it happened with the country mansion of Alexander Shirvindt. The two-story cottage belonged to the actor’s family since the first half of the last century. And it seems that during this time none of the residents decided to bring something new to the interior. Small rooms with Soviet furniture and the appearance of the house resembled a boarding house, so the artist turned to professionals for help.
The designers of the Perfect Renovation program enlarged the space on the second floor by opening up part of the roof and combining the room with a pantry. The room turned out to be comfortable and cozy, but at the same time it retained a unique historical flavor.
