You will be able to watch the holiday concert “Cornerstones” live on the Internet during the national holiday

On the 102nd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, all interested parties are invited to watch the festive concert “Cornerstones” live with the participation of the post-folklore group “Iļģi”.
The concert, live from the Railway History Museum, will tell about the “cornerstones” of Latvian society and state values - Latvia’s nature, traditions, cultural peculiarities, historical experience, family values and the formation of patriotism.
The original works of the group and Latvian traditional music compositions will be performed in the performance of “Iļģi”, the performance of which will be complemented by thematic video materials of the stage screen, as well as the concert director’s message.
The concert will be conducted by Latvian National Theater actor Mārtiņš Brūveris.
Concert at At 16.00 it will be possible to watch the Internet live on the “Facebook” account of the Riga City Council Education, Culture and Sports Department at www.facebook.com/rd.iksd.
The concert “Strūrakmeņi” is a traditional holiday concert organized by the Riga City Council. This year, due to the epidemiological situation in the country, this is not happening in person, but in a live format on the Internet.
The concert is organized by the Riga City Council Education, Culture and Sports Department, the producer of the concert – the association “I Did It”.
