From Tuesday 27 March, the 2.6 million households concerned can apply for their wood energy allowance, which ranges from 50 to 200 euros. This aid for home heating with wood (logs, pellets) was announced in early November in the context of a sharp increase in their price (all in all, + 30% in one year, while the price of pellets has more than doubled in a year). This new extraordinary aid from 50 to 200 euros it is granted on the basis of income assessment to families that use domestic wood (logs, pellets) as a source of heating.
