Yolanthe and Xess Xava on a sick visit to Sylvia Sneijder

Rodney Sneijder, son of Sylvia and brother of Wesley, told RTL Boulevard shortly after the hospitalization that the family was shocked. “We’re going through hell. My mother is a strong woman and will fight to get out of it.” Rodney also says on behalf of the family that they are grateful for all statements of support.

Sylvia’s health has not been going well lately. She suffers from shortness of breath and breathing problems. At the doctor she was sent away with the statement that it is bronchitis. In reality, there is much more going on. After she gets approval to fly to Turkey with a friend despite her breathing problems, the health problems worsen so much that Sylvia ends up in the hospital.
