“This morning, the Azerbaijani armed forces crossed the state border of Armenia, going 3.5 kilometers deep. In fact, they are trying to surround Lake Sevlich. The actions of the Azerbaijani side in the lake area are unacceptable, this is an encroachment on the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia,” the publication quoted him as saying.

According to the trilateral agreement, a road connecting Baku with the Nakhichevan exclave and Turkey should pass through the Syunik region. The day before, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev warned that he was ready to lay a transport corridor even by force.
