The developers confirmed that they do not plan to raise prices for the nextgen version of the action role-playing game, however, the first discounts on the game will not appear soon – about a year after the release, and even then the cost will be reduced slightly.
The team is confident in the announced release date – the studio is preparing to send Cyberpunk for certification by Sony and Microsoft, but work on optimization will continue until release. Expect day one patch.
Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer, which won’t be out until 2022, will feature non-aggressive microtransactions. The goal is to make monetization so comfortable for the audience that people themselves will want to spend money.
